I bought this product just to give it a try – as we do when we show others our wares – and I am super happy with it. On opening I had to press a few tips on the tip and that ‘pumped’ the glue into the felt tip. As it filled with the glue it turned blue so I could see when it was fully primed.
The glue remains blue in colour while wet so you can see it. It fills the broad felt tip and you run it across the back of a chipboard element, a piece of cardstock or something else flat where you want a nice strong bond. There is a short time for you to position the element just right before the bonding takes place and then it dries like super glue!
I used it to do the cascading card and to adhere the roses cut with the Cricut on the ‘Nest Wishes’ card. Every element attached to the cardstock here was attached with Bonding Memories Broad Tip Glue Pen. Nothing slid, or moved and the heavier chipboard elements and roses have stayed firmly in place.
What I did find was that this glue pen needs to be stored upright. The liquid glue is runny enough to continue running through the tip so when I found it was on its side there was excess glue in the cap. This was easily wiped away with a baby wipe. Don’t forget to keep it capped too or else it will dry out.
Try some today! You can purchase it online here. My bet is it’s partner the glue pen with a fine tip will be just as good!
