Hello and welcome! For this post I wanted to use Paper, and have double the P by selecting the awesome new Pathfinding WOTG kit.  I love earthy colours and this collection meets that need very well.

I have a grateful heart so the stamp set enabled me to express that and for the ‘seasons’ sentiment I am reflecting on the seasons of life for my parents rather than Autumn, the obvious focus of this collection.

I also used the new woodgrain embossing folder Z1996 to add dimension to the goldrush cardstock. Be careful with this one – you do need to follow the grain of the paper. If you are still struggling wrap the piece in glad bake before embossing. To find the grain, watch this video.

Pathfinder double page ready for photos of my Grandsons first day in my new home.

I used the pumpkin to suggest a sweet little pumpkin growing up…(really he is cheeky!) I made this layout with photos I took on the same day I created it which was my grandson’s first visit to my new home. I have not yet printed the photos, but I have the page ready to go. I altered some of the B and T colour placement and cut different words with my Cricut than ‘Autumn’ which is the title in the WOTG instructions.

There is a new feature in our WOTG kits which is an alternate layout image for those of you without Cricut machines which makes these good value kits even more simple to use. You can choose the Cricut design, the non Cricut design, or change it up as I have here.

A handy hint for you is to use Bonding memories glue for the Overlay and title pieces. If you use the new All purpose  mat Z2045 while doing this you can simply wipe away the excess glue!

I have also added some dimension to pieces by rubbing a little ink on stark spaces and use a fine liner to add stitching lines. I am not a fan of completely plain papers so this is a quick easy solution for that.

I am in LOOOVE with some new embellishments we have too.
