Wild About Love!
How sweet is this foxy girl! Today I would like to share a few projects with you that feature February Stamp of the Month Wild About Love S1402A available exclusively throughout February for $24 or for just $5 when you spend $75.
Love Card
This card is a cinch to make with this awesome stamp set plus one other, the chicken wire from Distressed Backgrounds . D1544 I have used Chocolate and Sorbet Exclusive inks to stamp with. The base is the beautiful Colonial White cards that CTMH make.
Begin stamping the whole Chicken wire across the centre of the card so it wraps around the back. I stamped the foxy girl, the stump and the sign on colonial white card stock. I fussy cut these out, including separating the flower from the fox. I have added depth to the stump with a dauber using Chocolate and fixed this to the card with foam tape. The dark chocolate sign post is a piece of the awesome new Paper Fundamentals Basics assortment – a lovely textured finish. The sign is backed with a remnant of the sorbet print from the new WOTG pack Ariana and mounted with foam tape. The flower is coloured in with Sorbet exclusive ink marker and also mounted with foam tape. I randomly added some of the small hearts stamped with sorbet to add a little more colour.
A card like this can be given to a valentine, but also to anyone, male or female who simply needs a message of your love for them.
When you have all he pieces ready stamp the fox once on the card. Mount the fussy cut fox on top with foam tape.
Lollydoodle Layout
And now I would like to share something with you more fun and funky. The colours are bright and happy, the style reminiscent of the days of flower power. While I cannot claim the idea of stamping in a circle create a flower with it I have taken that idea here and the result is a really fun layout! I am pleased to present to you Lollydoodle!
Most of this is simple straightforward straight stamping. To create these embellishments I have used Chocolate brown for the loving foxes. Then I stamped the heart twice in 4 different colours and cut them out, positioning them on foam tape in a circle. I have used colours that coordinate with Lollydoodle. You can easilt apply this technique to any colour palette.
My Crush Bluebird
For one last idea for making the most of this cute stamp set may I ask how your Crush books are going? How about this idea? This time stamp Chocolate on Goldrush Cardstock. Add some of that awesome Washi tape we got with Cloud Nine in January. This time I used masking technique to make the I love you sign.
Wild about Love is only available until 28th February from your CTMH consultant. You can shop online right now to get yours here. I’d love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Jenny Crump’s Blog Have Fun!
